Having trained as a sculptor at St.Martin's School of Art in London, I started work making puppets for Spitting Image in the late '80's.
I spent the next few years working as a prop maker for various companies, such as Henson's Creature Shop and Artem, became Spitting Image's Workshop Art Director and also worked for Derek Howarth on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Following this, I spent a few years working as an Art Director, mainly for the Production Designer Anne Tilby, where I was involved in a number of pop promos and commercials, eventually designing my first production (Rory Bremner) in 1991 at the age of 26.
I have been a freelance Production Designer since 1991, and have designed a huge variety of TV, Music and Sport programmes, as well as some Commercials and Short Films.
