Cookery & Food Television — Production Design Archive

A selection of Jonathan Paul Green's production design and set design for cookery, food and entertainment television.

The archive includes Ready Steady Cook, one of Britain's best-known and longest-running cookery programmes, for which Jonathan created the show's colourful and instantly recognisable studio environment.

Designing for food television brings its own particular challenges, combining a strong visual identity with the practical requirements of working kitchens, multiple cameras, presenters, contributors and studio audiences.

Alongside Ready Steady Cook, this archive brings together selected earlier cookery and food-based productions, showing a range of studio sets and production design created for British television.
